Jarrod Fennimore is a Managing Partner for First Equity Capital, where he oversees all loan originators and assists with all aspects of the company’s loan products. Additionally, he helped develop First Equity Funding’s origination platform using a new cloud-based Point Central Software 9.2 system to help better originate, process and underwrite fix/flip loans. Fennimore works directly with loan officers to help them understand construction costs, repaired values (ARV), draw schedules and the overall fix/flip market, educating them on how to sell the products to clients including realtors, architects and outside loan originators.

Joseph Gachko has been practicing residential and commercial real estate law since 1983. Gachko has extensive experience in all phases of real estate matters and routinely lectures to industry professionals at seminars. Gachko is also a member of the New Jersey Bar and Union County Bar Association, and was previously a member of the Union County Bar Association Real Estate Committee. Having maintained his own practice in New Jersey since 1989, Gachko attended Seton Hall University and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1979 with a B.S. degree in Accounting, and received his J.D. law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1982.

Luis Leiva is a young, motivated real estate broker and licensed instructor. At just 35 years old, Luis has owned and developed three real estate offices. He is currently CEO of Culture Estate, located in Scotch Plains, NJ. Luis has been involved in over 1,000 transactions. His experience has allowed him to mentor others and assist his clients in making strategic investments. He is looking to make his mark on the world by speaking and spreading his knowledge to the real estate community. He currently hosts an educational series on YouTube, spreading his message through social media. Nicole Plath is the majority owner of Fortune Title Agency, Inc., widely recognized as the “Foreclosure Specialists” in New Jersey. Fortune Title provides title reports and title insurance for mortgage and tax sale foreclosures, REO property sales, purchases, refinances and settlement services in both residential and commercial markets. Plath routinely speaks on real estate topics, and delivers presentations for the New Jersey State Bar Association and American Land Title Association (ALTA). She serves on the Homebuyers Outreach Program (HOP) Committee for ALTA and is certified as a HOP Leader.

Jim has been active in the building industry for almost 34 years starting out in 1983 working on a framing crew building custom homes throughout Somerset and Hunterdon Counties. After years as a framing contractor he moved into the realm of providing full service general contracting on projects ranging from custom homes to all aspects of home improvements. Since forming Jersey Strong Construction in November of 2012, James has been working as a project manager in the construction of single family homes and complete renovations and rehabs of properties for the retail market.
